Live (Synchronous) Online Classes
Online classes are taught via Zoom. ALPS classes are 100% live (synchronous) and interactive. Nothing is prerecorded or asynchronous. All online classes feature the same dynamic, interactive teaching style as our in-person classes.
Online classes are still limited to 8 students maximum per class so that students can maximize their speaking practice and get individualized feedback from their teachers.
In order to take ALPS online classes, you will need:
- a computer, tablet, or phone with a strong Internet connection
- headphones or speakers so that you can participate in class
- a free Gmail account in order to access class notes and materials on Google Drive
ALPS currently offers a very limited selection of online classes.

**Students with F-1 visa status cannot maintain their visa status by taking online classes and must study in person.**
