Location
Public Transportation
ALPS is a 5-minute walk from the Capitol Hill LINK light rail station. Bus stops for several major bus lines are also within a 5-minute walk. You can check Google Maps to find the best route to the school via public transportation.
Parking
ALPS doesn’t have a parking lot, but there is free and paid street parking available close to the school. There is also a paid parking garage across the street from ALPS.
Street Parking Guide
Blue signs indicate paid parking. You pay for parking online with a credit card. You will need to enter the parking location on the sign (each sign has a different location) and your car’s license plate number.
Green signs indicate free parking, but there is a 2-hour time limit! You should move your car to a new parking place after 2 hours.
Don’t park anywhere with a painted curb. Red, yellow, or white paint on the curb designates special zones that don’t allow parking for more than a few minutes at a time.
Look out for temporary “no parking” signs. With temporary “no parking” signs, parking is not allowed between the start and end times posted on the sign.
Don’t block people’s driveways, and make sure to check carefully for signs that signal the end point of legal parking on each block. Most blocks have signs at each end of the block showing the boundary where legal parking stops.
Garage Parking
Paid garage parking is available across the street from the school, underneath the Broadway Market QFC (Lot # 154, 401 Broadway E, Seattle, WA 98102). You pay for parking at the kiosk in the garage with a credit card.
